Pathways to Property — Expanding Access to the Industry

Pathways to Property — Expanding Access to the Industry

Bayfield is proud to support the Pathways to Property programme, an initiative designed to open doors for students from under‑represented backgrounds and introduce them to the opportunities within the real estate sector. The scheme provides early exposure, industry insight, and practical preparation for those considering a career in property.

As part of our commitment, every Pathways to Property student receives complimentary access to Bayfield’s Introduction to Real Estate online course. This training is designed to give students a strong foundation before they step into work experience, internships, or graduate roles within real estate firms

What Students Learn Through the Training

The Introduction to Real Estate course equips students with the essential skills and understanding needed to feel confident in professional environments. Key learning outcomes include:

  • How the real estate industry works — the roles, sectors, and career paths available
  • Core investment and development concepts — understanding value, risk, returns, and market drivers
  • Property lifecycle fundamentals — from acquisition and planning to construction, leasing, and disposal
  • Introduction to financial modelling — building simple cashflows and understanding how decisions are evaluated
  • Real‑world examples and case studies — helping students connect theory to practice
  • Commercial awareness — the language, logic, and expectations of the industry

BCO NextGen

BCO NextGen East Anglia Seminar: LinkedIn With Purpose

Bayfield is proud to be working with BCO NextGen East Anglia to support their seminar event series for both members and non-members of the organisation.

NextGen was set up by BCO to provide opportunities for under 35’s to build knowledge and instigate change as they enter the office sector.
You can find out more about the NextGen Membership here – BCO NextGen

The LinkedIn Seminar will be ran by Anthony Maddalena of Powercall Global Training, a partner of Bayfield Training, delivering an interactive session to help professionals use LinkedIn more intentionally and effectively. Moving beyond simply having a profile, we’ll explore how to build a purposeful presence that reflects your experience, insights and professional voice.

Through a mix of practical guidance, real-world examples and group discussion, attendees will learn what engaging professional content looks like, how LinkedIn works today and what drives visibility.
